Sara's First Birthday Celebration

For those of you who know me, know that I LOVE planning parties!  My major in college was Hospitality Management, I was a waitress/server at a banquet facility in college and a Catering Manager for a private club here in St. Louis.  I love thinking of all of the small little details, so planning Sara's first birthday celebration was right up my ally!

Sara 6 Months-1 Year

I haven't posted in a long time, so I have a lot to get caught up on.  The last post of Sara was when she was 6 months old (She is now 2 1/2!!!!)  Instead of creating a separate post for each set of photos I took, I will just include a few of my favorites from the second half of her first year.

I started this blog to share photos I have taken, but I have decided to put a different spin on it.

I am going to blog more often and incorporate other topics into my posts.

Captures of a Lifetime isn’t just about photos  it’s about living life to the fullest and capturing those moments as memories, whether it be a photo, a story, or simply just a memory in your mind.

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to be inspired and to inspire others, and to live life to the fullest.  With that being said, I am going to dedicate this year, 2013, to being the best that I can be and I’m going to use this blog as a form of accountability by documenting my inspiration and journey, so others can, in turn, be inspired too.

A Day at the Park

The Club I work at closes for the month of February, so I work for two weeks and I'm off for two weeks.  During the two weeks that I work, I only work regular 8 hour days...so it's quite a wonderful "vacation"!!!  On the last day I had off before the Club opened back up, Sara and I spent the day together.  We ran a couple errands, met Bo for lunch, went to the park and then finished our day off by going to Red Lobster for dinner with Bo - it was pretty much the perfect day!!

6 Month Old Sara

Time sure does fly when you're having fun!  It feels like just yesterday that I had my baby girl.  Becoming a parent is one of the best things that has happened to me.  She has filled our lives with so much joy, love and happiness.  It's so hard to believe she is 6 months old already!
